Good news: most of my students are non-native English speakers (and I’m also not)! My mother tongue is italian, I also understand Portuguese, French, and Spanish – so I can meet you where you are.
Why it works:
Visual Communication: Photo feedback uses visual markup (circles, arrows, annotations). Much of our communication is looking at images together. Screen recordings show rather than just tell.
Flexible Pacing: 1:1 sessions allow you to ask for clarification anytime. I can adjust speaking speed, repeat, or rephrase explanations. Chat support gives you time to translate or look up words.
Written Support: Session recap documents provide written reference you can translate at your own pace. Photo feedback is both written and visual. Resources can be translated with tools.
Your English needs to be: Conversational (can express questions and understand responses) – NOT perfect or academic-level. Written English helpful for chat support.
If concerned: Mention it in your application or discovery call. We can assess if your level is sufficient and provide additional support if needed.
